Mtoni Resort is a green powered alternative space at the banks of Tigithi River at Tigithi Ridge.
It’s a gem tucked away next to the Tigithi River three kilometers after Naromoru town towards Nanyuki.
Sandwiched between the crispy iced Mt. Kenya to the east and the sprawling Aberdare Ranges to the west, it is separated with Solio Ranch by the river.
The Resort is looking for suitable professionals for the following two positions:
CHEF:
Responsible for the consistent preparation of innovative and creative cuisine of the highest quality, presentation and flavor for the restaurant and events.
Responsible for the smooth management of the kitchen in areas of profit, stock and wastage control, hygiene practices and training.
Education:
Certificate in food production from a reputable hotel school required. Should have computer skills and be familiar with food cost computing.
Experience:
Three to five years of minimum previous experience in a similar positions in a rated star hotel required.
FRONT DESK SALES AGENT
Responsible for all front office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, sales, reservations and guest services,
PREREQUISITES:
Good communication and customer relations skills. Highly organized and sales. Knowledge of Opera / Fidelio / Other Property Management Systems is required.
Conversant with OTA and digital marketing.
EDUCATION:
Certificate, Degree or Diploma in Front Office operations. Certification in sales and marketing would be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience in Front Office and Sales required.
